Come on everyone, whistle the theme with me! One of North Carolina's favorite sons, Sheriff Andy Taylor is depicted as an adorable cross stitch doll.  He is shown here wearing his uniform, complete with badge and patch, and boots. His hair is embroidery floss added using the turkey work stitch. And so that Andy won't get lonely, I also designed Barney, Gomer and Opie, the patterns are also available in my shop. Who says that cross stitch is only good for flat things?  Now you can stitch a doll using cross stitch for the details.

The doll is stitched as 3 pieces which are then cut out and hand sewn together. Full assembly directions and a turkey work tutorial are included.

This pattern was hand designed by a professional artist/crafts person
Finished size is approximately 6" tall x 4" wide from fingertip to fingertip when worked on 14 count fabric (150 x 150 stitches) The image is composed of 14 colors.

* Color picture of the finished image
* Pattern in black and white symbols on several pages
* DMC floss list
* Full stitch count
* Floss use yardage
* Directions with photos of how to assemble the doll

Design contains some fractional stitches, backstitches and turkey work stitches, appropriate for an intermediate stitcher.Pattern may be worked on different count fabric which will result in a different sized finished product.
