Want to give someone you love the moon? Now you can. Well, not the real thing, but an accurate globe of our moon. The moon is shown as it would appear from space, in shades of gray with many, many craters. The moon is in scale with my Earth globe, so it is a perfect companion piece. Who says that cross stitch is only good for flat things? Now you can stitch a globe using cross stitch for the details.

The sphere is stitched as 1 piece which is then cut out and sewn together. Full assembly directions with photos are included.

This pattern was hand designed by a professional artist/crafts person
Finished size is approximately 2 1/2" tall x 6 3/4" in circumference when worked on 14 count fabric (102 x 54 stitches) The image is composed of 6 colors.

* Directions with photos of how to assemble the globe

Design contains many fractional stitches and backstitching, appropriate for an intermediate stitcher. Pattern may be worked on different count fabric which will result in a different sized finished product.
