Mercury, the smallest and closest to the sun of the planets in our solar system is now a globe you can cross stitch. Now you can make your own accurate globe of the tiny planet. The Mercurian landscape is depicted as it appears in space. This planet is in scale with my Earth and moon, Mars and Venus globes, about a third the size of the Earth. Who says that cross stitch is only good for flat things? Now you can stitch a planet using cross stitch for the details.
The sphere is stitched as 1 piece which is then cut out and sewn together. Full assembly directions with photos are included.
This pattern was hand designed by a professional artist/crafts person
Finished size is approximately 3" tall x 10 1/4" in circumference (a bit larger than a baseball) when worked on 14 count fabric (72 x 144 stitches) The image is composed of 6 colors.

Design contains many fractional stitches, appropriate for an intermediate stitcher. Pattern may be worked on different count fabric which will result in a different sized finished product.
