This pattern is based on an actual carousel horse carved by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in 1917. The horse is identified as a second row jumper. He is adorned with a shield with a crowned lion on his rump. This particular horse is drawn from the carousel in King's Dominion Park in Doswell, VA.

This pattern was hand designed by a professional artist/crafts person
Finished size is approximately 8"x12" when worked on 14 count fabric (110x170 stitches). The image is composed of 21 colors. THIS IS NOT A KIT.

Each pattern contains:

* Color picture of the finished image
* Pattern in black and white symbols on several pages
* DMC floss list
* Full stitch count
* Floss use yardage

Design contains some backstitching and many fractional stitches, appropriate for an intermediate stitcher. Pattern may be worked on different count fabric which will result in a different sized finished product.
