Meerkats, those ever watchful creatures of the African plains and grasslands.

I like accuracy in plush animals and have made the markings and eyes like that of real meerkats.  Why use cross stitch?  Because cross stitch allows me to make tiny details that would be difficult to do by another method.   Who says that cross stitch is only good for flat things?  Now you can stitch a doll using cross stitch for the details.

The animal is stitched as 15 pieces which are then cut out and sewn together. The animal is stuffed with fiber fill. Full assembly directions with illustrations are included.

Finished size is approximately 6.5" tall x 7" wide from nose tip to tail tip when worked on 14 count fabric.  The image is composed of 13 colors.

* Pattern in black and white symbols on several pages
* DMC floss list
* Full stitch count
* Floss use yardage
* Directions with photos of how to assemble the animal

Design contains no fractional stitches or backstitches, appropriate for an intermediate stitcher. Pattern may be worked on different count fabric which will result in a different sized finished product.
