Rama is a no drama llama. Just look at his cool demeanor.

This little llama uses cross stitch for the details of his face and legs and the turkey work stitch to create his lush coat. Turkey work is an embroidery stitch used to create fuzzy appearances. It is sewn as a line of loops which are cut open. I like accuracy in plush animals and have made the markings and eyes like that of real llamas. The accuracy goes all the way down to the soles of his hooves. Why use cross stitch?  Because cross stitch allows me to make these tiny details that would be difficult to do by another method. Who says that cross stitch is only good for flat things? Now you can stitch a doll using cross stitch for the details.

The animal is stitched as 18 pieces which are then cut out and sewn together.  Full assembly directions with illustrations are included.

This pattern was hand designed by a professional artist/crafts person
Finished size is approximately 9" tall to top of his ears x 8" wide from nose tip to back of tail when worked on 14 count fabric.  The image is composed of 19 colors.
