This pattern is based on an actual carousel animal carved by the Herschell-Spillman Company in 1912. The horse is identified as a first row stander. This particular horse was drawn from the carousel in Myrtle Beach, SC.

This pattern was hand designed by a professional artist/crafts person
Finished size is approximately 8"x12" when worked on 14 count fabric (110x170 stitches) THIS IS NOT A KIT.

Each pattern contains:

* Color picture of the finished image
* Pattern in black and white symbols on several pages
* DMC floss list
* Full stitch count
* Floss use yardage

Design contains some backstitching and many fractional stitches, appropriate for an intermediate stitcher. Pattern may be worked on different count fabric which will result in a different sized finished product.
